Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Journal Mistar undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the published work. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept anonymous throughout the review process.
1. Initial Screening
Upon submission, the editorial team conducts an initial check to ensure that the manuscript fits the journal’s scope, adheres to the author guidelines, and meets basic quality standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned without review.
2. Double-Blind Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
-
Originality and significance of the content
-
Clarity of objectives and methodology
-
Soundness of data analysis and interpretation
-
Relevance to the field of education
-
Quality of writing and organization
3. Review Outcomes
Based on reviewers’ feedback, the editor will make one of the following decisions:
-
Accept: The manuscript is accepted with no or minor revisions.
-
Revisions Required: The manuscript needs minor or major revisions before acceptance.
-
Reject: The manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal.
Authors are given a specific timeframe to revise and resubmit their manuscript if revisions are requested.
4. Final Decision
After the revised manuscript is received, the editor may send it for a second round of review (if necessary) or make a final decision based on the completeness and quality of the revisions. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
5. Publication
Once accepted, the manuscript will undergo copyediting, proofreading, and formatting before being published in the next available issue.
