Plagiarism Screening Process

  • Every manuscript received by AJMBY is checked using reputable plagiarism detection software to identify any overlapping or copied content.

  • Manuscripts with significant similarity to previously published works, whether by the same or different authors, may be rejected immediately or returned to the authors for substantial revision.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted work is original and properly cites any sources, including their own previously published work.

Consequences of Plagiarism

  • Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or unethical duplication will be rejected.

  • If plagiarism is detected after publication, AJMBY reserves the right to retract the article and notify the authors’ affiliated institutions.

  • AJMBY follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding handling cases of plagiarism and publication misconduct.

Author Responsibilities

  • Authors must confirm that the manuscript is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.

  • Proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources, including direct quotations and paraphrased content, are mandatory.
